Armed individual neutralized at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport, 4 police officers lightly injured in the scuffle.

At the domestic arrivals floor of İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport, police officers noticed H.K. (45), who was carrying two knives, and intervened. In the ensuing scuffle, 1 commissioner and 3 police officers were slightly injured. The officers, taken to Menderes State Hospital by ambulance, were discharged after their treatment was completed.

MENTALLY UNSTABLE

Regarding the detained H.K., legal proceedings have been initiated for the charges of "intentional injury" and "resisting an official," while it was stated that the suspect has been undergoing mental health treatment for a long time and is not of sound mind.
