In a knife fight between two groups in the Midyat district of Mardin, Nihat Bilgiç was severely injured and died in the hospital. A police investigation into the incident is ongoing.
Nihat Bilgiç (46), who was seriously injured in a knife fight between two groups in the Midyat district of Mardin, lost his life at the hospital he was taken to. The incident occurred in the evening hours in Bahçelievler neighborhood, central Midyat district. An argument between two groups for unknown reasons turned into a knife fight.
OPERATION LAUNCHED TO CAPTURE FLEEING SUSPECTS
In the fight, Nihat Bilgiç was seriously injured with a knife. Upon notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. After initial medical intervention at the scene by health teams, Bilgiç could not be saved at Midyat State Hospital where he was taken. Nihat Bilgiç's body was taken to the hospital morgue for autopsy. Police teams launched an operation to capture the suspects involved in the fight.
