The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that since March 2, the number of people killed in Israeli attacks has increased by 56 to 968, and the number of injured has risen to 2,432.

As Israel continues its intense attacks on Lebanon, which began on March 2, the toll of the assaults is worsening day by day.

THE DEATH TOLL NEARS 1000

In a written statement from the Lebanese Ministry of Health, it was reported that the number of people who have lost their lives in the attacks carried out by Israel since March 2 has risen to 968, while the number of injured has reached 2,432.

It was noted that among the deceased, there are 116 children and 77 women. It was reported that 40 healthcare workers have been killed and 96 healthcare workers have been injured in the Israeli attacks.

The Ministry of Health had stated in its announcement yesterday that since March 2, 912 people have lost their lives in Israeli attacks, and 2,221 people have been injured.

ISRAEL'S ATTACKS ON LEBANON

In a statement made by the Israeli army on March 2, it was mentioned that sirens were activated in the northern part of the country after detecting missile launches from Lebanon.

Later, the Israeli army announced that it had launched airstrikes across Lebanon and targeted the capital Beirut, deciding to expand its ground invasion in Lebanon, where it was conducting intense attacks from the air and sea.

The Disaster Management affiliated with the Lebanese government announced that, due to Israel's occupation and attacks, the number of people forcibly displaced in Lebanon has officially exceeded 1 million.
