A light commercial vehicle went out of control and rolled over in Erzurum, causing a tragedy. In the horrific accident, 3 people, including a 2-year-old baby, lost their lives, and 4 others were injured.
A traffic accident that occurred in the evening hours in the Hınıs district of Erzurum caused grief. A vehicle went out of control and overturned, resulting in a scene of chaos.
The accident took place around 17:40 on the Hınıs-Muş highway at the Aşağı İncesu location. According to the information obtained, a light commercial vehicle with license plate 34 NHZ 027, driven by Ekrem İ. (58), was traveling towards Hınıs when the driver lost control of the steering wheel, veered off the road, and overturned. Upon notification, health, gendarmerie, and fire brigade teams were quickly dispatched to the scene.
2 PEOPLE DIED AT THE SCENE
In the initial checks conducted by health teams arriving at the scene on the vehicle that had turned into scrap, it was determined that Halide M. (67) and Netice İ. (52) lost their lives at the scene.
2-YEAR-OLD BABY DIED AT THE HOSPITAL
The 2-year-old Yusuf Ali M., who was severely injured in the accident, along with other injured individuals Derya Y. (31), Leyla M. (39), Ziynet P. (59), and the vehicle driver Ekrem İ. (58), were taken to Karayazı State Hospital by ambulances after initial interventions at the scene. Little Yusuf, whose heart stopped while under treatment at the hospital, could not survive despite all efforts by the doctors.
The other 4 injured individuals, who received initial treatment at Karayazı State Hospital, were referred to various hospitals in central Erzurum for further examination and treatment. The lifeless bodies of the 3 people who died in the accident were taken to the morgue for autopsy procedures, while gendarmerie teams launched a comprehensive investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident.
