The suspect, who was caught before carrying out her plan, was referred to the courthouse after processing at the police station.
H.İ.Ö., who allegedly tried to kidnap a baby by wearing a nurse uniform at the Training and Research Hospital in Şanlıurfa, was referred to the courthouse after police procedures.
The incident occurred last night at the newborn unit of Şanlıurfa Training and Research Hospital. A woman named H.İ.Ö. entered the hospital wearing a nurse uniform. Arriving at the newborn unit, H.İ.Ö. tried to take a baby out of the unit by picking it up.
STAFF NURSE NOTICED THE SITUATION
Panicked when the on-duty nurses intervened upon noticing the situation, the woman dropped the baby in her arms and fled from the hospital. A short chase ensued by hospital staff, but the suspect disappeared. Following the report, numerous police teams were dispatched to the hospital.
FUGITIVE WOMAN CAUGHT THANKS TO CAMERAS
Reviewing security cameras, teams identified the suspect and initiated efforts to capture her. As a result of operations conducted by the Eyyübiye District Police Department Investigation Bureau, the suspect H.İ.Ö. was taken into custody.
H.İ.Ö. was referred to the courthouse after police procedures.
