Oğan, who supported the People's Alliance in the second round of the Presidential elections in 2023, revealed the details of his meeting with former CHP leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu during the election period in a live television broadcast he attended. Oğan said, "I asked Kılıçdaroğlu, 'In a narrowly won election where we don't have the parliament behind us, how will we govern this country?'" He added, "He told me, 'We won't be able to govern, it will create a crisis.'"

Sinan Oğan made remarkable statements about the 2023 Presidential elections and shared the details of his meeting with former CHP leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu during a live television broadcast.

Oğan, who supported the People's Alliance in the second round of the 2023 Presidential elections, explained why he supported President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in the second round and talked about his dialogues with Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu during a live broadcast on TV100.

"I WOULD HAVE BEEN VICE PRESIDENT AND HAD THREE MINISTRIES"

Oğan stated that Kılıçdaroğlu offered him the best of the best in return for his support to Ümit Özdağ, saying, "I am a statesman. Supporting the People's Alliance, which could not achieve a majority in the parliament, would have caused a major crisis in the country. If I had accepted Kılıçdaroğlu's offer, I would have had ministries. I would have been Vice President and had three ministries."

"I SAVED THE COUNTRY FROM CRISIS"

Oğan said, "I saved this country from entering a crisis. I had such a burden on my shoulders. If we had supported Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu that day, we would have lost by a 5-point difference in the first round. The People's Alliance would have lost the majority in the parliament."

Oğan stated that he had to fight against intense threats and lynchings, saying, "For a year, I dealt with threats to my children and even my family. We had to seek protection from the state. Didn't the Gülenists threaten us? Didn't the CHP supporters threaten us? The troll army of an opposition mayor threatened us. PKK supporters, Gülen supporters, and those who claim to be democrats on social media but are close to the CHP, some of them with the label of journalist, threatened us."
