Lukashenko openly warned: An attack on Belarus would be the Third World War.

18.09.2024 08:00

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko said, "History is repeating itself. However, I want to warn those who do not understand this, our rivals, our enemies. There is no need to do this. It will not benefit Europe and the whole world. An attack on Belarus would be the Third World War. Remember this."

Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko, in his speech at the program organized on the occasion of National Unity Day, stated that Belarus is a supporter of peace and will continue to be so. Lukashenko, who stated that they continue to advocate the idea of multipolarity and diversity, said, "You know who is against multipolarity. However, this is now unstoppable. This multipolarity is not just knocking on the door, it is now in front of us. We will definitely find a way out of the global security crisis. Because our closest allies and many countries are with us," he said.

Lukashenko emphasized that they do not want war and expressed their belief that peace will prevail in neighboring states and that a day will come when people will live in harmony and friendship. Lukashenko stated that they have done everything to build such a world. Lukashenko pointed out that peaceful approaches are not a sign of weakness and stated that they can respond to external aggression more than ever.

"IF OTHERS DO NOT STEP ON OUR LANDS..."

Lukashenko drew attention to the fact that those who fled the country and their Western administrators have started to develop an action plan to stir up society again before the presidential elections in the country. Lukashenko stated that they have intelligence information that the US expects military tension to increase both by Moscow and Kiev from mid-September to early November, and that Western intelligence agencies see Belarus as a suitable place to escalate the situation because they want the war to continue. Lukashenko said, "If others do not step on our lands, we will not engage in it (Belarusian army entering the conflict)."

Lukashenko claimed that the US gave instructions to attack Belarus' infrastructure on its southern border to Kiev when conditions were met, and stated that the reason for this was the flying of Russian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) near Belarusian territory. Lukashenko stated that they agreed with Ukrainians through various channels not to highlight that both Russian and Ukrainian UAVs were flying over their territories, and explained that both sides misused UAVs, so UAVs from both sides fell on Belarusian territory.

"THEY ARE PUSHING UKRAINE INTO CONFLICT WITH BELARUS"

Lukashenko claimed that the "puppet masters" in Washington are pushing Ukraine into conflict with Belarus, and said, "And I want to ask the Americans this: Do you want peace, peaceful negotiations, or do you want the situation to escalate? I'm not asking this in vain. Because recently they made insinuations about negotiations to us and even put forward conditions. We accepted it. Now how should we understand this?"

Belarusian leader Lukashenko reminded that his country is involved in large-scale conflicts because it is a place where all roads pass, and said, "History is repeating itself. However, I want to warn those who do not understand this, our rivals, our enemies. There is no need to do this. This will not benefit Europe and the whole world. An attack on Belarus will be the Third World War. Remember this," he said.
