In a middle school in Niğde, 27 students who ate food from outside during lunch break became ill and were taken to the hospital. In a statement from the governor's office, it was reported that the students' general health conditions are good, and they are being kept under observation as a precaution, with plans for their discharge.
27 students studying at Sakarya Secondary School in central Niğde fell ill after eating outside the school during lunch break. Following complaints such as abdominal pain and nausea, the school administration immediately notified the health teams. The students were swiftly taken to the hospital by ambulances that arrived at the scene.

The 27 students taken to the hospital were admitted for treatment at Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Training and Research Hospital. The Governorship shared reassuring information for parents:
