The unfortunate woman died at the hospital despite all medical interventions, while the suspect, who waited by his wife at the scene and was nearly lynched by neighbors, was taken into custody by police.

The incident occurred on 705th Street in Diliskelesi neighborhood, Dilovası district. A quarrel that started at home between Erdal K. and his wife Elif K. spilled onto the street. As the argument escalated, Erdal K. stabbed his wife Elif K. multiple times in various parts of her body. While Elif K. collapsed in a pool of blood, her husband Erdal K. continued to stand watch over her.
NEIGHBORS ATTEMPTED LYNCHING
Upon notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Meanwhile, neighbors attempted to lynch Erdal K. Police officers had a difficult time dispersing the crowd. One police officer drew his gun and fired warning shots into the air.
