"TIME DOES NOT EASE THE PAIN"

Later, the artist went to Diyarbakır to visit the grave of his mother, Faike Arık, whom he lost on December 6, 2024, and said, "What we call time does not ease the pain; it only gets a person used to it. I knelt at her grave and touched the soil. It felt like she was still there... If I reached out, it seemed like she would stroke my hair. I prayed, closed my eyes, and tried to feel her, but only emptiness remained; a deep and indescribable longing... What we call life is like a passing wind... The important thing is what we fill it with. Today we are here, tomorrow we are not, but the real issue is to live without leaving behind a broken heart, regret, and sorrow. Because in the end, only prayers and memories remain. I composed the piece you are currently listening to, titled 'My Mother, My Mother', for her. And unfortunately, I cannot perform this piece on stage right now. I won't be able to perform it for a long time. If I do, I will break down; if I do, I will cancel," he said.
