Eyyübiye Municipality delivered a massive support package to seasonal agricultural workers who are away from their homes to earn their daily bread during Eid al-Adha. Following the instructions of Mayor Mehmet Kuş, 350 live sacrificial animals and 1,000 food parcels were distributed to families working in the fields. Mayor Kuş, who shared the joy of the holiday with the workers, also delighted the children with gifts.
The Eyyübiye District Municipality in Şanlıurfa did not forget the seasonal agricultural worker families who were away from their homes during Eid al-Adha to earn their livelihood. The municipality delivered 350 live sacrificial animals and 1,000 food packages to needy families, while children's faces lit up with distributed gifts. Eyyübiye Mayor Mehmet Kuş, who did not leave citizens spending the holiday far from their hometowns alone, personally shared in the joy of the families.
AID CONVOY SET OUT ON MAYOR KUŞ'S INSTRUCTION
Aid supplies prepared days in advance on the instruction of Eyyübiye Mayor Mehmet Kuş were dispatched from the municipal service building on the morning of the holiday. The aid delivered to agricultural worker families living in tents and fields under harsh conditions in different parts of Şanlıurfa brought the festive spirit to the fields.
SACRIFICIAL ANIMAL AND FOOD SUPPORT FOR FIELD WORKERS
Mayor Mehmet Kuş, who visited agricultural worker families at their accommodations to celebrate the holiday, emphasized that seasonal agricultural workers make significant contributions to the regional and national economy. Stating that they always stand by laborers who do not give up production despite their challenging shifts, Mayor Kuş delivered live sacrificial animals and food packages to the families. During the visit, Mayor Kuş did not forget the children, distributing toys and various gifts to bring them holiday joy.
"OUR SUPPORT IS NOT LIMITED TO AGRICULTURAL WORKERS"
Stating that Eyyübiye Municipality's social assistance network is very extensive, Mayor Mehmet Kuş emphasized that efforts are not limited to seasonal workers alone. Kuş noted that support for all needy families in the district, including orphaned and underprivileged children, continues uninterrupted throughout the holiday, adding that the municipality's compassionate hand reaches every household.
