The Mayor of Ankara, Mansur Yavaş, stated at an event he attended, "There is currently no such agenda in the country. But if my party nominates me, I say everywhere that we will certainly run for the presidency and we will definitely win."

The Mayor of Ankara, Mansur Yavaş, participated in the 27th 'International Beypazarı Festival' held this year in the Beypazarı district. Yavaş made striking statements regarding the presidential candidacy while addressing the agenda.

Yavaş said: "There is currently no such agenda in the country. But if my party nominates me, I say everywhere that we will certainly run for the presidency and we will definitely win. Our current agenda is to work together with all the mayors. Because, as you know, due to the economic difficulties, the people are in a tight spot. Schools are overwhelmed with filth, and they cannot clean them. They do not want us to clean them either.

On top of that, you know the situation of retirees. We provide regular support to 42,000 retirees in Ankara. According to our understanding, the municipality is an institution that stands by everyone in need. And we have done this quite well since the pandemic. We will work together for a Turkey where the youth, who have lost hope in the current Turkey, can confidently find jobs based on merit, without seeking favoritism, without injustice, and live joyfully, proud to be a part of it, inshallah.
