Mansur Yavaş shared sabotage footage and warned the citizens.

The President of ABB, Mansur Yavaş, shared images of individuals intentionally disabling the escalators and elevators by pressing the emergency stop button while working in the capital city of Ankara. Yavaş warned citizens about this behavior and announced that legal action would be initiated against those who deliberately damage the escalators and elevators.

The Mayor of Ankara, Mansur Yavaş, shared footage of the sabotage on escalators at metro stations in the city. The video shows unidentified individuals pressing the emergency stop button on the functioning escalators, disabling the system.

HE WARNED CITIZENS

In a post on his social media account, Yavaş stated, "Dear citizens, we will initiate legal action against those who intentionally damage the escalators and elevators across Ankara."

“We are monitoring these public service vehicles 24/7 and are working decisively to prevent any grievances. Public property is our legacy to future generations, and we will all protect it together."

“In case of any malfunction in elevators and escalators, you can reach us by calling the malfunction hotline at 0534 010 19 17 or Başkent 153."
