A comprehensive operation has been launched against lawyers who were found to have illegally accessed citizens' personal information and sent fake seizure and legal proceeding messages. In the investigation, detention orders were issued for 31 lawyers, and search and seizure operations have begun at 39 different law offices. Following the operation, Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek stated, 'No one who abuses the law to commit injustice will get away with it.'
A comprehensive operation was carried out against lawyers who were determined to have used illegal panels. It was found that citizens' personal information was accessed, and fake foreclosure and legal proceedings messages were sent.
DETENTION ORDER FOR 31 LAWYERS
Within the scope of the investigation, detention orders were issued for 31 lawyers. It was determined that the lawyers accessed citizens' personal information through illegally used inquiry panels and then used this information to send messages containing foreclosure and legal proceedings to individuals. At the center of the operation are the unlawful acquisition of personal data and the victimization of citizens through this information.
SEARCHES INITIATED AT 39 LAW OFFICES
The teams conducting the investigation initiated simultaneous search and seizure operations at 39 law offices believed to be connected to the lawyers against whom proceedings were initiated. Examinations are being carried out on digital materials in the offices and documents that may be related to the investigation. It is aimed to reveal the extent of illegal panel use and the scope of the messages sent to citizens by examining the materials obtained during the operation. Proceedings continue against the lawyers for whom detention orders were issued. Examinations to be conducted on the materials seized in the searches at 39 law offices will investigate which data was accessed from the illegal panels, how this information was used, and the extent of the victimization.
