Mehmet Aurelio's mother has passed away.

Former national football player and currently the assistant coach of Antalyaspor, Mehmet Aurelio's mother passed away after suffering a heart attack.

Aurelio's mother, Lucia Brito Dos Prazares, died yesterday after experiencing a heart attack at her home in Çekmeköy. The body of mother Lucia Brito Dos Prazares was sent to the Forensic Medicine Institution's morgue for an autopsy.

Mehmet Aurelio, who came to collect his mother's body, left questions unanswered while it was seen that he shared an emotional message for his mother on his social media account. In his message, Aurelio stated, "Teacher, warrior, winner, brave, beautiful, intelligent, hardworking, and the best mother. You were a warrior until your last breath. You had a heart attack, reacted, came back to us, but unfortunately, you could not hold on. Thank you for the lessons and life lessons. Today, for the memories and wonderful moments you gave me. Forever, Lucia. I will love you forever."
