Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek delivered messages to young people at the AK Party Ankara Youth Branches Provincial Advisory Council Meeting. Drawing attention to the importance of protecting young people from criminal organizations, illegal betting, drugs, and the negative effects of digital platforms, Gürlek said, "Our young people are too valuable to be left to the hands of betting gangs, street gangs, terrorist gangs, interest gangs, and social media gangs."
Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek delivered important messages to young people at the AK Party Ankara Youth Branch Provincial Advisory Council Meeting. Stating that young people should not be made targets of illegal betting, street gangs, terrorist organizations, and activities carried out through social media, Gürlek said, "Our youth are too valuable to be left in the hands of betting gangs, street gangs, terrorist gangs, interest gangs, and social media gangs."

Expressing his satisfaction at meeting with AK Party youth at the meeting, Gürlek said that young people play an important role in the party's future.
Noting that young people are not merely the young faces of the organizations, Gürlek stated that they are the renewed language of the cause, its rising energy, and its will extending into the future.
Asking young people not to repeat what was done in the past but to carry fundamental values into the future in accordance with the requirements of the age while preserving them, Gürlek said, "You are not merely the young faces of this organization. You are the renewed language of our cause, its rising energy, and its will extending into the future."
"DO NOT WAIT FOR A PLACE RESERVED FOR YOU IN POLITICS"
Emphasizing that young people should assume more responsibility in politics, Gürlek called on young people on this issue.
Gürlek said, "Putting young people at the center of politics is a matter of will. Do not wait for a place to be opened and reserved for you in politics. Open that place yourselves through your work, your knowledge, and your efforts."
Telling young people that they should focus on the responsibilities they assume rather than positions and titles, Gürlek asked them to be people who add value to the posts they hold.

Stating that as Minister of Justice he attaches great importance to the future of young people, Gürlek drew attention to developments in the field of technology.
Expressing that young people should be interested in space, rockets, robotics, artificial intelligence, satellite, and aircraft technologies, Gürlek spoke as follows:
"Our youth is the youth of TEKNOFEST. Our youth should be interested in space, rockets, robots, artificial intelligence, satellite and aircraft technologies, and the technological race of the age. Our youth are too valuable to be left in the hands of betting gangs, street gangs, terrorist gangs, interest gangs, and social media gangs."
Gürlek noted that they are working to raise young people as individuals who shape technological transformation and can compete with the youth of the world.
"DO NOT LOOK AT THE WORLD THROUGH OTHERS' EYES"
Touching upon the effects of digital platforms on young people, Gürlek said that trapping young people in the virtual world is an important problem.
Calling on young people to develop their own ideas and evaluate the world from their own perspective, Gürlek said, "Know the world, but do not look at the world through others' eyes. Think with your own mind, speak your own words."
Noting that transitions between generations have accelerated, Gürlek stated that Türkiye must closely follow technological and social change.
"THE GOAL OF A TERROR-FREE TÜRKİYE IS THE FUTURE OF YOUNG PEOPLE"
Also touching upon the importance of the fight against terrorism, Gürlek said that terrorism harms not only loss of life but also the country's resources and the future of young people.
Stating that the goal of a "Terror-Free Türkiye" is the will not to sacrifice young people's lives to dark calculations, Gürlek expressed that those who want to sabotage this process will not be allowed within the framework of law and democracy.
Gürlek said, "We will thwart all dirty scenarios that seek to set Türkiye's youth against one another with our unity and brotherhood."
"WE HAVE NO LUXURY OF LOSING EVEN A SINGLE YOUNG PERSON"
Emphasizing that young people must be protected from dangers such as alcohol, drugs, and gambling, Gürlek stated that all segments of society have a responsibility in this regard.
Expressing that young people should not be allowed to become targets of criminal organizations and harmful habits, Gürlek said, "We have no luxury of losing even a single young person."
At the end of his speech, Gürlek called on organization members for unity and solidarity and stated that they expect from young people not only enthusiasm but also effort and responsibility. He noted that the Century of Türkiye will be built through the efforts, will, and work of young people.
