In a video message released on the occasion of the 29 October Republic Day, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan celebrated the 103rd anniversary of the Republic. Noting that Turkey has covered significant ground in many areas over the last 24 years, Erdoğan said, "Thank God, Turkey today is stronger than yesterday. God willing, tomorrow it will be much stronger, much more respected, and much more effective in every field. With God's permission, the Turkish nation will stamp its seal on the century we are in."
President Erdoğan released a video message on the occasion of the 29 October Republic Day.
Erdoğan, greeting all citizens with respect and affection, said: "Today we celebrate the 103rd anniversary of the founding of our Republic with great pride and enthusiasm. I congratulate our noble nation, our Turkish Cypriot brothers and sisters, and all our citizens living in different parts of the world on the 29 October Republic Day. I convey my most sincere gratitude to our valued guests who share our holiday joy and excitement at our foreign missions. I also affectionately embrace all our friends and brothers and sisters in different corners of our heartland and cultural geography whose hearts beat with our nation, who rejoice with us and grieve with us, and with whom we share a unity of destiny and heart."
"THE NATIONAL STRUGGLE HAS SHOWN THE WHOLE WORLD WHAT A NATION CAN ACHIEVE"
Stating that the Republic of Türkiye is the strongest emblem of the Turkish nation's will for independence, determination to live freely and resolve to determine its own future, with a history full of glorious victories and struggles, President Erdoğan used the following statements: "The National Struggle, which we carried out under the leadership of Gazi Mustafa Kemal with great sacrifices, has shown the whole world what a nation united in unity and solidarity can achieve even under the most difficult conditions. This great success, achieved amid impossibilities, not only changed the fate of a nation but also engraved on history the power of national will and the indispensability of the right to live independently."
"TÜRKİYE IS MOVING FORWARD WITH CONFIDENT STEPS TOWARD A STRONG FUTURE"
President Erdoğan said that the perseverance, courage and determination displayed by the Turkish nation 103 years ago continue to be the strongest source of motivation today, and stated: "We see the distance we have covered over the last 24 years in a wide range from the defense industry to energy, and from transportation to diplomacy, as milestones on the road to an influential and prosperous Türkiye. Our country, which develops its own technology, increases its means and capabilities in the field of defense, strengthens energy supply security, renews its transportation infrastructure in line with the requirements of the age and continuously expands its production capacity, is moving forward with confident steps toward a stronger future."

Erdoğan, noting that as Türkiye in a difficult period in which wars, conflicts and crises are experienced in the nearby region and different parts of the world, they not only maintain stability but also take responsibility in the resolution of disputes, said: "With the motto 'peace in the world, peace in the region and peace at home,' we will continue to strive for peace and justice with determination from now on. As 86 million people, united around our common values, we will together carry the Republic of Türkiye, which we see as our firmament, to much brighter tomorrows, translating our goal of the Century of Türkiye from potential into action. I would like to express with great satisfaction that, thank God, Türkiye is stronger today than yesterday. God willing, tomorrow it will be much stronger, much more respected and much more effective in every field. With God's permission, the Turkish nation will imprint its seal on the century in which we live. I pray that the Lord may open our path and our fortune as a nation. On this occasion, I commemorate with mercy our Republic's founder Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, his comrades-in-arms, our heroes of the National Struggle and our revered martyrs who sacrificed their lives for our homeland, and I offer my gratitude to our veterans. Happy 103rd anniversary of our Republic."
