Speaking at the program held in Ahlat on the occasion of the 955th anniversary of the Malazgirt Victory, the President of the Okçular Foundation, Hüseyin Topbaş, drew attention to the historical importance of 1071 in making Anatolia a Turkish homeland. Topbaş emphasized the importance of passing on the historical heritage stretching from Ahlat to Malazgirt to future generations.
Hüseyin Topbaş, President of the Archery Foundation, addressed the participants at the program held in Ahlat district of Bitlis on the occasion of the 955th anniversary of the Malazgirt Victory. Topbaş drew attention to the importance of the historical heritage stretching from Ahlat to Malazgirt and emphasized that the memory of this victory, which was a significant turning point in making Anatolia a Turkish homeland, should be kept alive.

Topbaş, touching upon the importance of being in Ahlat in terms of historical heritage, said, “Every step we take on these lands reminds us where we came from, on which values we have risen, and how we are the custodians of a great history.”

Topbaş, stating that the events held in Ahlat and Malazgirt establish a strong bond between the past and the present, used the following expressions in his speech:
“Today, we gather in Ahlat, following in the footsteps of our ancestors, and tomorrow, we will celebrate the 955th anniversary of this great victory together in Malazgirt.”
