According to unofficial results, Donald Trump has become the 47th president of the United States. Messages of congratulations poured in for Trump from world leaders.

The American public went to the polls to elect their 47th president. Voters in the country made their choice between the Republican Party's presidential candidate, former President Donald Trump, and the Democratic Party's candidate, Vice President Kamala Harris. According to unofficial early results, Trump secured his election victory with 277 delegates.

Following Trump's election as president, congratulatory messages poured in from around the world.

NETANYAHU: HISTORIC COMEBACK

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu celebrated Trump's victory with a post on social media. Congratulating Donald Trump and his wife Melania Trump, Netanyahu stated:

"Dear Donald and Melania Trump, we celebrate the greatest comeback in history. Your historic return to the White House offers a new beginning for America and a strong renewed commitment to the great alliance between Israel and America. This is a tremendous victory."

MELONI: THE US AND ITALY ARE SISTER NATIONS

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni emphasized that the US and Italy are sister nations in her congratulatory message. Meloni stated:

"On behalf of myself and the Italian Government, I sincerely congratulate Donald Trump, the next president of the United States. Italy and the US are 'sister' nations bound by an unbreakable alliance, shared values, and a historic friendship. This is a strategic bond that I am sure we will strengthen even further."

STARMER: I WILL BE HAPPY TO WORK WITH TRUMP

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer expressed that he would be happy to work with Trump. In his message, Starmer said:

"I congratulate President-elect Donald Trump on his historic election victory. I look forward to working with you in the coming years."

MACRON: I AM READY TO WORK WITH YOU

French President Emmanuel Macron used the following words in his congratulatory message to Trump:

"Congratulations, President Donald Trump. As I did for the previous four years, I am ready to work with you for more peace."

ZELENSKY: IMPRESSIVE VICTORY

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky congratulated Trump for his "impressive victory." Reminding that they had a meeting in September to discuss the Ukraine-US strategic partnership, the Victory Plan, and ways to end Russia's attacks on Ukraine, Zelensky stated, "I appreciate his commitment to the approach of peace through strength. This is the principle that can bring a just peace to Ukraine. I hope we will realize this together."

Zelensky, who said, "We look forward to a strong era of the US under President Trump's determined leadership," concluded his statement as follows:

"We want to develop mutually beneficial political and economic cooperation that will benefit both countries. Ukraine, one of the strongest military powers in Europe, is determined to ensure long-term peace and security in Europe and the Transatlantic community with the support of our allies. I look forward to personally congratulating President Trump and discussing ways to strengthen Ukraine's strategic partnership with the US."

ORBÁN: A VICTORY NEEDED FOR THE WORLD

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, in a post on social media, stated, "The greatest comeback in American political history. I congratulate President Trump on his tremendous victory. A victory much needed for the world."
