Voters in the country made their choice between the Republican Party's presidential candidate, former President Donald Trump, and the Democratic Party's candidate, Vice President Kamala Harris. According to unofficial early results, Trump secured his election victory with 277 delegates. Following Trump's election as president, congratulatory messages poured in from around the world.
