MHP Deputy Chairman İsmail Özdemir stated that in Kayseri, which he described as one of the important centers of FETÖ, the fight against the organization has not achieved successful results and there are still structures infiltrated into institutions. Stressing that the "us vs. them" mentality harms the struggle, Özdemir emphasized that new legal processes closely concerning Turkey's agenda will soon begin, and it will be revealed how many individuals currently respected in society have actually betrayed the nation.
Deputy Chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) and Kayseri Deputy İsmail Özdemir stated that the fight against FETÖ has not reached the desired level in Kayseri, and said that important legal processes that will closely affect Turkey's agenda will begin in the upcoming period.
“THERE ARE CIRCLES THAT HAVE INFILTRATED MANY INSTITUTIONS AND THINK THEY HAVE MADE THEMSELVES FORGOTTEN” Stating that FETÖ has seen Kayseri as an important center and target area for many years, Özdemir said, "For FETÖ, Kayseri is an important center and one of its primary target areas. Unfortunately, it is not possible to say that successful results have been achieved in Kayseri in the fight against this dark structure. There are still circles that have infiltrated many institutions and think they have made themselves forgotten. Some ongoing legal investigations also point to this situation."
“WE HAVE ALWAYS BEEN OPPOSED TO THESE ATTEMPTS” Emphasizing that some relationship networks and personal accounts have harmed the struggle, Özdemir stated, "Some close relationship networks have harmed the efforts to cleanse our city of the extensions and affiliates of FETÖ. The continuation of the 'us versus them' mentality and selfish approaches have been among the developments that negatively affected this struggle. As the Nationalist Movement Party, we have always been opposed to these attempts."
İsmail Özdemir, Özdemir stated that especially some non-governmental organizations and individuals who have infiltrated the judiciary and have been recorded by relevant judicial bodies due to their affiliation with FETÖ being referenced by various circles harms both Kayseri and Turkey.
