Mike Gerner Larsen, who is internationally wanted for the crime of "Drug Trafficking" with an Interpol red notice issued by Denmark, was captured in the "KUYU-38" operation conducted in the Başakşehir district of Istanbul. In a statement made by the Ministry of Interior regarding the matter, the following was stated: "Mike Gerner Larsen, who is internationally wanted for the crime of "Drug Trafficking" with an Interpol Red Notice issued by Denmark, was captured in Istanbul during the "KUYU-38" operation! As a result of joint efforts carried out by the Istanbul Provincial Police Department's Narcotic Crimes, Intelligence, and Human Smuggling and Border Gates Branches, coordinated by the Interpol-Europol Department and the Directorate General of Migration Management; Mike Gerner Larsen, who was found to be involved in extensive cocaine smuggling to Denmark along with his accomplices, was captured in the Başakşehir district of Istanbul. No matter which notice he is wanted with, we will not allow international organized crime groups and drug traffickers to disturb the peace of our people. We will capture each of them one by one and bring them to justice! We congratulate our heroic police officers who carried out the operations in coordination with our Interpol-Europol Department and the Directorate General of Migration Management."
