As part of the investigation conducted by the Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, a detention order was issued against Antalya Metropolitan Mayor Muhittin Böcek, his son Mustafa Gökhan Böcek, and his former daughter-in-law Zeynep Kerimoğlu on charges of "bribery." It has been learned that Mustafa Gökhan Böcek is currently abroad.
DETENTION ORDER FOR MUHİTTİN BÖCEK AND HIS FORMER DAUGHTER-IN-LAW
The details of the investigation have emerged. Based on the statements and documents provided by businessman Y. Y., who was tried and released in a case in Istanbul, concrete evidence related to two separate bribery actions was obtained.
ALLEGATION OF 8.5 MILLION LIRA VEHICLE WRAPPING
According to the allegations, during a meeting between Mustafa Gökhan Böcek and Y. Y. shortly before the 2024 local elections, a request for 25 million TL was made for the election campaign. After this amount could not be met, it was claimed that an invoice of 8.5 million TL was issued for vehicle wrapping services as part of Muhittin Böcek's election activities, and the payment was allegedly made through Y. Y.'s companies. It was also stated that the company officials confirmed this statement.
30 MILLION LIRA HOUSING PAYMENT
According to the second allegation in the investigation, a house worth 30 million TL was purchased from a company named Özpınarlar in February 2025 in the name of Zeynep Kerimoğlu, who is in the divorce process with Mustafa Gökhan Böcek. It was claimed that the housing price was paid in three installments by Y. Y., and bank transactions, base records, and witness statements regarding these payments were included in the file.
TRAVEL BAN FOR THE FORMER DAUGHTER-IN-LAW
Böcek's former daughter-in-law Zeynep Kerimoğlu was referred to the peace court with a request for judicial control after her statement at the prosecutor's office. The court decided to release Kerimoğlu with a travel ban imposed. Mayor Böcek's interrogation at the prosecutor's office is still ongoing.
