"THEY SAID THEY WERE SUPPORTED BY THE GOVERNMENT"

Initially stating that his goal was to buy a house for his children, Soydan said, "This company that reached out to me through social media claimed they were supported by the government. Trusting them, I started taking out loans on their behalf three years ago. They sent me a reliable real estate contract. The company consultants stated that they had construction projects in Istanbul and Ankara. Over time, they promised a 5% profit for each investment, and I regularly took out loans to achieve this return," he said.

"THEY CONDITIONED ME TO BRING NEW CUSTOMERS"

Stating that they paid the promised profits during the first year and created a trustworthy environment, Soydan said, "However, after a year when I asked for my principal back, they said, 'Your money is losing value in TL, let's convert it to dollars and pay you that way,' but they conditioned me to bring in new customers for that. Since I couldn't bring anyone, I couldn't get my money back. I currently have a loss of about 750,000 TL. I have become subject to enforcement due to my debts to banks and I am experiencing great hardship. There are more than 6,000 victims like me in Turkey and abroad," he expressed.

"MY FAMILY ORDER HAS COMPLETELY COLLAPSED, I REACHED THE BRINK OF SUICIDE"

Providing information about the ongoing lawsuit against the company in Alanya, Soydan said, "Currently, only one person is in custody in this case, while the other five have been released under judicial control. While those who defrauded us continue to live in luxury, we are struggling with enforcement. My family order has completely collapsed, and I have reached the brink of suicide. We want those who victimized us to be punished and for our losses to be compensated," he stated.
