Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan made harsh evaluations regarding Israel's policies in the region during his statements at the Anadolu Agency Editor's Desk. Fidan stated that Israel is pursuing an expansionist strategy, which poses a significant risk to the region.
“FAULT LINES IN THE REGION ARE BECOMING FRAGILE”
Fidan, drawing attention to the process after October 7, noted that Israel's continuation of its expansionist policies is increasing tensions in the region. Emphasizing that the war needs to turn into a permanent ceasefire, Fidan expressed that Turkey is conducting intense diplomacy in this direction.

Fidan pointed out that Israel's moves in Gaza, the West Bank, Jerusalem, and Lebanon are part of a similar strategy, stating that this situation also carries serious risks for Turkey. He argued that Israel is aiming for more land, not security.
