Minister Işıkhan announced: 5 different payments credited to accounts simultaneously before Eid al-Adha

Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan announced that many payments, particularly unemployment and short-time work benefits, have been brought forward due to Eid al-Adha. The payments will be deposited into accounts on May 26.

Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan announced that the unemployment and short-time working allowance payments planned for June have been brought forward due to Eid al-Adha.

PAYMENTS WILL BE IN ACCOUNTS ON MAY 26

In his statement, Minister Vedat Işıkhan announced that the payments, normally scheduled for June 5, will be deposited into citizens' accounts on May 26, the eve of Eid al-Adha.

The payments brought forward include:

  • Unemployment Allowance
  • Short-Time Working Allowance
  • Half-Time Working Allowance
  • Wage Guarantee Fund
  • Job Loss Compensation

“WE WILL DEPOSIT THEM INTO OUR CITIZENS’ ACCOUNTS”

Minister Işıkhan stated in his announcement: "We will advance the Unemployment Allowance and Short-Time Working Allowance, which we were to pay on June 5, and deposit them into accounts on May 26, the eve of Eid al-Adha. We will also make the payments for Half-Time Working Allowance, Wage Guarantee Fund, and Job Loss Compensation on the same date."

PAYMENTS WILL BE MADE THROUGH BANKS AND PTT

Işıkhan noted that payments for citizens with account information in the system will be made via bank accounts. He stated that payments for citizens without account information will be made through PTT.
