In simultaneous operations organized based in Antalya and Kayseri, a heavy blow was dealt to 4 new-generation criminal organizations. During raids on structures found to have committed 89 criminal acts against 68 victims and glorifying crime on social media, 42 suspects were detained, and numerous weapons, checks and promissory notes, and drugs were seized.

Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek announced that 4 new-generation criminal organizations were dismantled in operations centered in Antalya and Kayseri, and 42 of the 46 identified suspects were caught and detained.

SIMULTANEOUS ACTION IN TWO PROVINCES

Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek, emphasizing that under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, a determined struggle is being carried out against structures that try to encourage young people towards crime and violence, stated that judicial and security units act with strong coordination. In this context, major operations were carried out under the coordination of the Antalya and Kayseri Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices and Provincial Police Departments.

SOCIAL MEDIA TRACKING IN ANTALYA: 10 DETAINED

In the efforts carried out in Antalya, an operation was initiated against 14 suspects identified as praising the violent and threatening methods of three separate new-generation criminal organizations on social media or making posts encouraging participation in the actions of these organizations. In the operation, 10 suspects were caught and detained, and drugs were seized during the searches.

SIMULTANEOUS RAIDS IN 5 PROVINCES CENTERED ON KAYSERI: 32 DETAINED

In operations centered on Kayseri, a new-generation criminal organization, determined to have committed 89 separate criminal acts against 68 victims, was dismantled. All 32 identified suspects were caught in the raids carried out simultaneously in 5 provinces. During the search activities, many weapons, ammunition, checks and promissory notes, digital materials, and drugs were seized.

Minister Gürlek, thanking the Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices, the police force, and public officials who successfully carried out the operations, gave the message that the struggle will continue with determination: "We will not allow any structure that tries to trap our young people in the web of criminal organizations, normalize violence, and portray crime as an element of power and prestige. We will continue our struggle against new-generation criminal organizations and all their structures with determination."
