The Minister of Labor and Social Security, Vedat Işıkhan, announced new support for citizens with disabilities and former convicts who want to start their own businesses. Işıkhan stated that grant support has been increased to up to 720,000 Turkish lira.

The Minister of Labor and Social Security, Vedat Işıkhan, announced that they have increased grant support for disabled individuals and former convicts who want to participate in employment and production.

In a statement made on his social media account, Minister Işıkhan used the following expressions:

We are increasing our grants and support for our disabled citizens and former convicts who want to participate in employment and production.

In protected workplace projects, we are increasing the initial capital support from 500,000 TL to 720,000 TL,

For disabled citizens who want to start their own business, we are increasing the grant support from 400,000 TL to 580,000 TL,

We are raising the grant support for former convicts from 300,000 TL to 435,000 TL.
