MEETING WITH INVESTORS IN NEW YORK TODAY

Şimşek's visit, which started today, will first take place in New York. He will meet with a group consisting of portfolio investors and representatives from the real sector at a large-scale investor meeting organized by the Turkey-U.S. Business Council (TAIK) and Citi Group. Şimşek will also hold separate meetings with senior executives from the world's three major credit rating agencies. It is expected that the Central Bank Governor Fatih Karahan will accompany these meetings in New York.

WASHINGTON MEETINGS

Minister Şimşek will continue his visit in the capital Washington starting April 22. He will participate in a summit organized by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, where he will speak on the panel titled "The Future of the Financial System" alongside former World Bank President David Malpass. Şimşek will also attend a meeting at the Atlantic Council, one of the leading think tanks in the USA, with the participation of academics, analysts, policymakers, and investors.

MEETING WITH U.S. TREASURY SECRETARY BESSENT

As part of his Washington meetings, Minister Şimşek will also meet with U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent. He will provide an assessment of the latest developments in the Turkish economy at large-scale and small-scale investor meetings organized by global investment banks, sharing reflections of global trends and priorities for the upcoming period. Şimşek will also participate in the G20 Ministers' Meeting and hold discussions with senior management of multilateral development institutions such as the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, the European Investment Bank, the World Bank, and the International Finance Corporation.
