WHY WAS THE FREE CLOTHING APPLICATION ABOLISHED?
During the program, a student asked, "Why do we have to wear uniforms? Why was the free clothing application in schools abolished?"
Tekin stated that the free clothing application started in 2012 and noted that some negative situations were observed after the application.
"STANDARD CLOTHING" DECISION
Tekin stated that situations such as discrimination among students based on the socio-economic income levels of students and families had emerged, and therefore, it was decided that each school's students' clothing should be standard.
Tekin stated that it is aimed to carry out the application with measures that will not impose an additional burden on parents, and said that thanks to standard clothing, it will be easier to see which student belongs to which school and whether a stranger has entered the school.
