Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin visited Anıtkabir with children from 81 provinces as part of the April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day celebrations. Tekin wrote in the Anıtkabir Special Book, 'We maintain our determination to raise individuals who think, produce, and add value to elevate the eternal existence of the Turkish homeland.' Meanwhile, state officials led by Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Numan Kurtulmuş also attended the ceremony held at Anıtkabir.

Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin visited Anıtkabir with children from 81 provinces as part of the April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day celebrations.

Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin, along with his delegation and students, walked from the Lion Road to the mausoleum of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. After laying a wreath at the mausoleum, Minister Tekin observed a moment of silence and the National Anthem was sung. Following the ceremony, the delegation took a commemorative photo.

"WE ARE RAISING INDIVIDUALS WHO THINK, PRODUCE, AND ADD VALUE"

As part of the visit, Minister Tekin proceeded to the National Oath Tower and signed the Anıtkabir Special Book. Tekin wrote the following lines in the Anıtkabir Special Book:

"Dear Atatürk; On the 106th anniversary of the opening of our Grand National Assembly, born from the will of our nation, and on April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day, we are here with our children, who are everything to us. Through events held throughout April with the theme of children at the heart of Education, we have endeavored to strengthen the consciousness of national unity and solidarity on the occasion of this holiday you gifted to them. Our primary duty is to raise generations with a high sense of responsibility who grasp the spirit of the times, draw strength from their roots, and open their horizons to humanity.

We maintain our determination to raise individuals who think, produce, and add value to elevate the eternal existence of the Turkish homeland. As the Ministry of National Education, we regard the light in our children's eyes as a guarantee for the future. May your soul rest in peace."

STATE OFFICIALS VISITED ANITKABIR

On the other hand; State officials, led by Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Numan Kurtulmuş, attended the ceremony held at Anıtkabir on the occasion of the 106th anniversary of the opening of the GNAT and April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day. After Kurtulmuş laid a wreath of red and white carnations at the Atatürk Monument, a moment of silence was observed, and the National Anthem was sung.

The ceremony was attended by Deputy Speakers of the GNAT Bekir Bozdağ, Pervin Buldan, Tekin Bingöl, AK Party Group Chairman Abdullah Güler, deputy group chairpersons of political parties, members of the GNAT Presidency Council, GNAT administrative directors, members of parliament, and GNAT administrative staff. Following the ceremony held in front of the Atatürk Monument, GNAT Speaker Kurtulmuş, members of parliament, members of the GNAT Presidency Council, and GNAT administrative staff proceeded to Anıtkabir by bus.
