Presidential Chief Advisor Oktay Saral made notable statements regarding the Gülistan Doku investigation. Saral, indicating that the investigation extends to the son of former Tunceli Governor Tuncay Sonel, said, 'Unfortunately, the findings point to this murder being committed by Mr. Tuncay's son.'

INVESTIGATION ARROWS POINT AGAIN TO THE SAME NAME
With the arrest of former Governor Tuncay Sonel and the sending of the vehicle he used during the incident period to Istanbul for DNA analysis, a new stage has been reached in the case. Following these developments, while public debates have reignited, the focus of the investigation has once again become Sonel's son. The highest-level assessment regarding the process came from the Presidency front.
"THE FORMER GOVERNOR'S SON'S NAME IS BEING POINTED TO"
Speaking to the local press in Trabzon, Saral drew attention to the impact the incident created in the public and emphasized the sensitivity of the process. "The incident we saw in the public and media deeply shook us. I hope it is not true... What is being said, what happened is very sad, very painful. Ultimately, the murder of a girl is in question. An event that happened 6 years ago. Unfortunately, the findings indicate that this murder was committed by Mr. Tuncay's son. The fact that a former governor's son's name is being pointed to for this murder... Inquiries in that direction, the re-interrogation of some people in the file... After their statements are taken, it will be revealed very clearly." He summarized the point the case has reached with these words.
"NO ONE, WHOEVER THEY ARE, CAN ESCAPE JUSTICE"
In his statement, Saral emphasized justice, stating that no individual would be privileged. "Our Ministry of Justice is doing what is right. Whoever it is, whoever is at the highest level of the state... If the indicators, the findings point to it, no one, whoever they are, can escape justice. Justice is the foundation of a state... We hope, God willing, that it is not so, but if there is such a thing, whatever justice says, even if he is our father's son, whoever's son he is, if such a murder has been committed... This seriously disturbs the public conscience. The finger cut by justice does not hurt. Whoever it is, that father's, that official's son... whoever it is, must be delivered to justice." he used these expressions.
MESSAGE OF TRUST TO THE CHIEF PROSECUTOR
Stating that Tunceli Republic Chief Prosecutor Ebru Cansu, who is conducting the investigation, continues the process with determination, Saral said, "Our friend, the Tunceli Republic Chief Prosecutor, also says that by examining all the past processes and the findings at hand closely, she will pursue this matter to the end," expressing that the case is being meticulously examined.
