Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç reacted to the scandalous article targeting President Erdoğan published by the British media outlet The Economist. Minister Tunç stated, "This magazine is conducting an open smear campaign against our country. Everyone should know that we will never bow to these dirty scenarios prepared by dark forces."

While the scandalous news about President Erdoğan in the British publication The Economist has drawn significant backlash, a statement regarding the issue also came from Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç.

MINISTER TUNÇ'S REACTION TO THE SCANDALOUS ARTICLE

Minister Tunç used the following expressions in a post he made on his X account; "It is absolutely unacceptable for The Economist to target our country and our President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan with lies and slanders based on ongoing investigations.

The Turkish judiciary continues to perform its duties independently and impartially within the framework of the principle of the rule of law. However, this magazine, which is far from exhibiting an objective approach towards Turkey, is conducting an open smear campaign against our country.

"TURKEY'S SUCCESS DISTURBS SOME PEOPLE"

Turkey's strengthening role in its region, its success in security policies, and its economic growth are disturbing some people. Such manipulative attempts are nothing but new versions of global plots targeting our country.

It should not be forgotten that the old Turkey, which was directed and attempted to be operated by some, is now a thing of the past. Everyone should know that we will never bow to these dirty scenarios prepared by dark forces. We will stand firm against the disinformation campaigns of The Economist and similar circles, continue to have a say in the world under the leadership of our President, with the support of our nation, and continue to grow stronger and expand."
