DISASTER ACTION PLAN ACTIVATED
AFAD announced that the Turkey Disaster Response Plan has been activated. The statement included the following: "Immediately after the 6.2 magnitude earthquake that occurred at 12:49 in the Sea of Marmara, off the coast of Silivri, the Turkey Disaster Response Plan (TAMP) was activated at 13:15. Following the series of earthquakes, another earthquake of 4.9 magnitude occurred at 15:12, with its epicenter in Büyükçekmece. The depth of the earthquake, which was also felt in surrounding provinces, was recorded as 7.02. Finally, the region was shaken by a 3.5 magnitude earthquake.
CITIZENS RUSHED OUTSIDE
