Mitsotakis made assessments on the current agenda in an interview with Greece's OPEN TV.
"I DON'T KNOW WHAT TURKEY WILL DO"
When asked by the journalist to comment on reports in the press that "Turkey will pass a law on the Blue Homeland," the Greek Prime Minister said, "I don't know what Turkey will do. I know that we have a response to all of Turkey's possible moves. Let's not talk based on leaks to newspapers. Because, almost in June, there were reports confident that this thing you mention would happen. I don't see anything yet."

Emphasizing that he does not want to comment on an issue that has not yet occurred, Mitsotakis said, "There is exaggeration in journalism. This exists both in our country and in Turkey. I am tired of seeing analysts with maps showing circles of where that missile can reach. These are not helpful. Let's stick to the reality of geography. We are condemned to live side by side. It is impossible for this to change."
Mitsotakis pointed out that Turkish and Greek peoples want good relations, and even if there are unresolved issues between them, this does not require constantly raising tensions and dramatizing events.
