TRABZONSPOR AHEAD WITH SALAH
The maroon-blues, hosting Hearts in front of their pitch and fans, won a penalty in the 30th minute of the match. Muhammed Salah, stepping up to the white spot, scored the goal that put Trabzonspor 1-0 ahead by sending the ball into the net in the 32nd minute.
A HISTORIC STATISTIC FROM SALAH
With this goal, the Egyptian forward, who increased his goal tally in a Trabzonspor shirt to 10, also signed a historic statistic. Salah became the first footballer to score from the penalty spot for Trabzonspor in European competitions since Adrian Mierzejewski, who took a penalty against FK Kukesi in August 2013.
