Moments when a woman walking on the street in Giresun was attacked by a stray dog were captured by security cameras. In the footage, the dog suddenly jumps on the woman and bites her by the throat. The unfortunate woman, who was rescued by the intervention of nearby citizens, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
THE MINISTRY SENT A CIRCULAR BUT...
The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry had sent a circular to 81 provinces regarding stray animals that municipalities had collected but later released back onto the streets. The circular stated that a fine of 71 thousand lira would be imposed for each dog that was collected and then released back onto the street.
