TFF Board Member Hasan Surözü and Adana Demirspor President Ertan Zeybek thanked their former head coach Vincenzo Montella for waiving his receivables.
At the meeting held at the Adana Demirspor Club facilities, statements were made regarding Vincenzo Montella’s waiver of his 330 thousand Euro receivable from the club.

In his statement on the matter, Turkish Football Federation Board Member Hasan Surözü thanked Adana Demirspor’s former technical director Vincenzo Montella and said, “Montella showed great friendship and honor. He had done so in Adana. Thanks to this place, his path led him to the national team. Adana won from Montella, and Montella won from Adana. At the last minute, Montella made a very big gesture to Adana in such difficult times. We thank Montella very much.”

Adana Demirspor President Ertan Zeybek, noting that Vincenzo Montella’s waiver of his receivable was important, said, “Coach Montella could have had this filed with FIFA and caused us to be deducted points and receive a penalty. This removed a great burden from our path. As the management, we closed a debt of 3 million 500 thousand Euros for an amount of about 347 thousand Euros. We have closed a total of 9 files. We did this as fans in only 10 months. I think that from now on, when we come together with unity, our presidents, and the city’s leading figures and businesspeople, a better picture can emerge.”
