Motorcycle accident in Karabük: Two young Jordanians lose their lives

Two Jordanian nationals died in Karabük after a motorcycle crashed into a lighting pole.

Two Jordanian nationals lost their lives when a motorcycle crashed into a lighting pole in Karabük.

The accident occurred at the Balıklarkayası Battı Çıktı location. The motorcycle with license plate 78 MA 0851, driven by Jordanian national M.Ö.A.S., was traveling from Karabük towards Safranbolu on Şehit Ateşe Reşat Moralı Boulevard when the driver lost control at the Balıklar Kayası Viaduct and struck a lighting pole on the median. Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Medical teams determined that the motorcycle driver M.Ö.A.S. and passenger, Jordanian national Z.A.A.A., died at the scene.

INVESTIGATION INTO THE ACCIDENT CONTINUES

Police investigations revealed that the motorcycle slid approximately 110 meters after the impact before stopping. It was also learned that the driver did not have the required driver's license for the motorcycle. Following the prosecutor's on-site inspection, the bodies were taken to the morgue for autopsy procedures.
