While the crisis in the CHP continues after the "absolute nullity" decision, notable support came from Muharrem Ince to Ozgur Ozel. It was learned that Ince allocated the election bus from his Memleket Party days for Ozel, who could not use the party's buses. The bus in question was used during the Izmir program, which the governor's office did not allow to be held in Cumhuriyet Square and was marked by tensions.

Following the court's “absolute nullity” decision that reinstated Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu as the CHP Chairman, the crisis within the party continues. After the developments at the CHP headquarters following the decision, it was learned that Özgür Özel's administration could no longer use the party buses belonging to the CHP.

Following this development, a notable move came from Muharrem İnce, who joined the CHP last year. It was stated that İnce allocated the election bus he used during his Memleket Party period to Özgür Özel for his use.

USED AT THE IZMIR RALLY

The bus allocated by Muharrem İnce was used during Özgür Özel's gathering in Izmir today. After the governor's office did not grant permission for the program planned to be held at Izmir Republic Square, tensions rose in the area, and the entrances to the square were closed with police barriers.

While numerous TOMA (water cannon vehicles) and riot police teams were dispatched to the area, tensions occasionally flared between police and citizens. During the incidents, images of a citizen climbing onto a TOMA caused a widespread stir on social media.

“WE WILL BE IN THE SQUARES” MESSAGE

In his statement in Izmir, Özgür Özel argued that the event was not a rally but a holiday greeting gathering, saying, “We go wherever the nation expects us.”

After being denied access to Republic Square, Özel and the accompanying crowd marched to Gündoğdu Square. The CHP side assessed the Izmir gathering as the first major square message following the “absolute nullity” decision.

CRISIS DEEPENS IN CHP

The management change in CHP following the court decision and the developments at the headquarters continue to occupy the political agenda. Muharrem İnce's bus support to Özgür Özel was interpreted as a notable solidarity move on the opposition front.
