LOST 15-DAY STRUGGLE FOR LIFE
The accident occurred on Wednesday, April 29, around 5:30 PM at Ambarlı Square, in a traffic-free zone. Aydın Yaldız, who worked as a laborer in the Parks and Gardens Directorate of Avcılar Municipality, was married and father of one child, lost control of his scooter. Yaldız was thrown to the ground and hit his head on the concrete. Upon notification, health teams dispatched to the scene took Yaldız to the hospital by ambulance, where he lost his 15-day struggle for life in intensive care. Aydın Yaldız's funeral was held at Siteler Mosque in Ambarlı Neighborhood, followed by burial in Yeşilbayır Cemetery. The funeral was attended by Avcılar Deputy Mayor Yüksel Can, along with Yaldız's colleagues and relatives.
ACCIDENT ON CAMERA
The moment of the accident was recorded by the security camera of a nearby business. The footage shows Yaldız speeding in the traffic-free area, falling, hitting his head on the ground, and then lying motionless. Witness Ali Akçıkrık said, "He came quickly, and we saw him fall suddenly. We immediately called an ambulance. We heard days later that he had died."
