Murder of a woman in Mersin: He shot his wife with a rifle at home and then committed suicide in the car.

Atilla Biricik (44), who lives in an apartment in the Tömük neighborhood of Erdemli district in Mersin, shot his wife Fatma Biricik (40) with a shotgun for an undetermined reason. After hearing the gunshots, nearby residents reported the situation, and an ambulance and police team were dispatched to the scene. Health teams determined that the woman was severely injured and she was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

It was determined that Atilla Biricik committed suicide with the same shotgun in his car with license plate 46 AAG 096, approximately 200 meters away from the address after the incident. Meanwhile, it was learned that Fatma Biricik, whose "protective measure" order expired on October 22, had a meeting with her husband on October 21 and stated that there was no request for an extension of the measure.
