New Party Erzincan MP Mustafa Sarıgül broke his silence after 15 people, including his ex-wife Aylin Kotil and his son Ömer Sarıgül, were arrested. Sarıgül, who argued that the documents cited as the basis for the accusations in the investigation into laundering assets derived from crime were fake, said, "We will resolutely continue our legal fight so that the innocence and rightful stance of my family members and friends come to light."

Mustafa Sarıgül, New Party Erzincan MP, made a statement after 15 people, including his ex-wife Aylin Kotil and his son Ömer Sarıgül, were arrested as part of an investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. Sarıgül argued that the documents cited as the basis for the accusations were fake and stated that they would continue the legal struggle to reveal the innocence of family members and friends.

HE ARGUED THAT THE DOCUMENTS WERE FAKE

Sarıgül made a statement on his social media account after the arrest decisions issued as part of the "laundering of assets derived from crime" investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

Mustafa Sarıgül used the following statements in his statement: "The honor, dignity, and freedom of every citizen of the Republic of Turkey are entrusted to the state. I would have expected the justice system to protect its citizens against those who use the judiciary as a tool for their personal malice and hostility. The documents presented by the individuals making the accusations are fake to such an extent that they would not even require the initiation of any investigation. We will resolutely continue our legal struggle to reveal the innocence and righteousness of my family members and friends. Without losing our faith in law, we will continue to trust the judiciary."
