Salim Güran, the uncle who was arrested in the investigation of the murder of 8-year-old Narin Güran, whose lifeless body was found 19 days after she went missing in Diyarbakır, has been removed from his position as the headman of Tavşantepe Neighborhood.

The Muhtar of Tavşantepe Neighborhood, Salim Güran, who was arrested as part of the investigation into the death of 8-year-old Narin Güran in Diyarbakır, has been removed from his duty.

The investigation into the death of Narin Güran, who went missing on August 21 in Tavşantepe Neighborhood of Bağlar district and whose lifeless body was found in Eğertutmaz Stream on September 8, is still ongoing by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. According to the information received, Salim Güran, the uncle of the little child who was arrested on September 2 as part of the investigation and also the Muhtar of Tavşantepe Neighborhood, was removed from his duty as a result of the decision of Bağlar District Governorship District Administrative Board due to his detention and temporarily replaced by the 1st deputy. It was stated that a decision will be made on whether Salim Güran's muhtarship will completely end or not when a final judgment is given.

HE WAS ARRESTED ON SEPTEMBER 2

A search operation was initiated for 8-year-old Narin Güran, who went missing on August 21 in Tavşantepe Neighborhood of Bağlar district in Diyarbakır, and Salim Güran, the Muhtar of Tavşantepe Neighborhood and also the uncle of Narin Güran, who was taken into custody as part of the investigation conducted by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, was arrested by the duty judge of the night court on September 2.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Diyarbakır Governor Murat Zorluoğlu announced that Narin Güran, who went missing, was found dead on September 8 at around 08.45 with her clothes inside a sack hidden with stones on the edge of Eğertutmaz Stream. Nevzat B. (48), one of the suspects, claimed in his statement to the gendarmerie that his uncle Salim Güran asked him to throw the lifeless body of the little child into the stream for 200 thousand liras, and he was referred to the courthouse yesterday.

In his statement at the duty judge of the criminal court, Nevzat B, who claimed that his uncle Salim Güran threatened him by saying "I killed Arif's daughter, you will also take this body and destroy it. Otherwise, I will kill you and your family," was arrested for "participating in the intentional murder of the child" and sent to prison. One of the 23 suspects who were taken into custody as part of the investigation was released after the procedures at the gendarmerie. It is expected that the other 22 suspects will be referred to the courthouse tomorrow after the procedures at the gendarmerie.
