During this process, the unions covered by the contract will apply for authorization to the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, and it is expected that all unions' authorization documents will be completed by the end of this month.
OTHER AGREEMENTS ARE ALSO CLOSELY RELATEDOn the other hand, the 8th Term Collective Agreement negotiations, which will determine the salary increase rate for approximately 4 million civil servants and 2.5 million retired civil servants, will start on August 1, covering the years 2026-2027.
In this context, the 2025 Public Collective Labor Agreements Framework Protocol, which concerns public workers, is also significant in terms of collective labor agreements to be signed in the private sector, especially the Group Collective Labor Agreement of the Turkish Metal Industrialists' Union.
