In a barber shop in Kasımpaşa, Istanbul, Servet B., who had his hair blow-dried and styled with gel, came face to face with his brother-in-law Ferhat O. after refusing to pay for the service. The argument, which started in the shop and spilled onto the street, quickly escalated into what could be described as a neighborhood raid. Brother-in-law Ferhat O., along with 8 relatives he had gathered, took stones and sticks and raided Servet B.'s house. In the incident, where windows shattered and two houses were damaged, the 9 suspects taken into custody were released.

Gathering with relatives, brother-in-law Ferhat O. and 8 others raided Servet B.'s residence with stones and sticks, and were taken into custody following police intervention.
STREETS ERUPT WHEN PAYMENT IS REFUSED
The incident occurred around 14:30 on Sunday, August 9, in Kasımpaşa, Beyoğlu. According to allegations, Servet B. went to the barbershop run by his brother-in-law Ferhat O. and had his hair cared for. After having his hair blow-dried and gel applied, Servet B. refused to pay the fee as he left the shop, sparking an argument with his brother-in-law. Following the argument, when Servet B. and Ferhat O. encountered each other again on the street, the situation escalated into a physical fight.
HOME ATTACKED WITH STONES AND STICKS
Still enraged after the fight, Ferhat O. gathered 8 relatives, including family members. The group raided the building where Servet B. lived, entering with stones and sticks in hand and smashing the windows. Unable to contain their fury, the attackers also targeted the home of another relative, Emrah O., in the neighborhood. Both homes sustained serious material damage.
9 ATTACKERS RELEASED
Following reports from residents, police teams were quickly dispatched to the address. In the incident brought under control by the intervention of the teams, Ferhat O., Nihat O., Harun O., Ekin O., Ergin O., Azize B., Hatice O., Vahit O., and Alaattin O. were taken into custody. After giving statements at the police station, the 9 suspects were released, and it was learned that the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
