Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu announced that he has ordered the deportation of the Global Sumud Fleet activists detained in international waters as soon as possible. Netanyahu also reacted to far-right Minister Gvir, who had the activists arrested with a harsh intervention and shared the footage.

Netanyahu made a statement regarding the activists who were detained from the Global Sumud Fleet and brought to the Port of Usdud (Ashdod) in southern Israel.

NETANYAHU ORDERS "DEPORT THEM"

Netanyahu, claiming that Israel has a right to prevent the Global Sumud Fleet from reaching Gaza, stated that he gave orders for the deportation of the activists. Netanyahu also asserted that far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir's attempts to provoke activists at the Port of Usdud "does not align with Israeli values and norms."

The Israeli army launched a new attack on May 18 against a fleet consisting of 50 boats carrying 428 activists from 44 countries while sailing in international waters towards Gaza, and unlawfully detained the activists. The fleet included 78 Turkish participants.
