A NEW PHOTO HAS ALSO BEEN PUBLISHED
Demirtaş, whose new photo was published along with his article titled "Let's Go to the Square," stated that there will be a challenging process for democracy to transform into culture.
"THERE WILL BE NO AUTOMATIC TRANSITION TO DEMOCRACY WHEN WE DISABLE WEAPONS"
In his article "Let's Go to the Square," Demirtaş stated: "First of all, we need to discuss thoroughly and create a roadmap for social peace. Ultimately, we know very well that there will be no automatic transition to democracy when weapons are disabled. For this, we will have a challenging and long struggle ahead. We must bravely discuss every kind of work aimed at socializing democracy, starting with transforming it into a culture within ourselves.
"WE SHOULD START BY STABBING OURSELVES WITH A NEEDLE"
Perhaps we should start by stabbing ourselves with a needle: Without being real democrats, without our institutions turning into civil centers where democracy operates, what can we change, who can we change, and how? How can we make peace permanent without building models based on justice, equality, and freedoms, and without constructing the closest models to direct democracy? And of course, how can we find answers to these questions without freely discussing, talking, and researching?
