Yesterday, journalist Yılmaz Özdil, who suffered a heart attack and was admitted to the hospital, has been placed in intensive care. The chief physician of the hospital where he is being treated has made a statement regarding his health condition.

Recently, journalist and writer Yılmaz Özdil, who suffered a heart attack and is being treated in the intensive care unit of a private hospital, is continuing his treatment.

HOW IS HIS HEALTH CONDITION?

Dr. Mustafa Engin Çakmakçı, the Chief Physician of the hospital where he is being treated, provided a statement regarding Özdil's health condition. Çakmakçı noted that a quick intervention was made to Özdil's completely blocked artery, and that the blocked artery was fully opened with the application of a stent.

    "UNDER 24-HOUR MONITORING"

    Çakmakçı stated, "Afterwards, our patient Yılmaz Özdil, whose clinical stabilization was achieved, underwent stent application for the other two critical narrowings detected during the first angiography on January 15, 2024, Wednesday. After this procedure, our patient is under 24-hour coronary intensive care monitoring. Following the monitoring, he will be transferred to a normal room to continue his treatment," he said.

    In the statement, it was noted that "Our patient Özdil's general condition is observed to be good. The procedural follow-up process is ongoing."
