In the armed attack in Istanbul that resulted in the death of Kubilay Kaan Kundakçı, rapper Vahap Canbay, who was in the same vehicle, claimed "I was the target" and filed a complaint against 10 individuals, including Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu. A decision has been reached in the investigation conducted on this basis. The prosecutor's office ruled that there was no attempted premeditated murder against Canbay and issued a non-prosecution decision.

Rapper Vahap Canbay, who was in the vehicle during the armed attack that occurred in Istanbul on March 19, resulting in the death of Kubilay Kaan Kundakçı, escaped the incident without injury. Following the events, Canbay filed a complaint against Alaattin Kadayıfçıoğlu, Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu, İzzet Yıldızhan, Zuhal Kalaycıoğlu, Metin Kadayıfçıoğlu, and 5 other suspects on charges of "Attempted intentional murder."

"I WAS THE TARGET, THE BULLET HIT MY FRIEND"

In his complaint submitted to the prosecutor's office, Canbay claimed that the attacker Alaattin Kadayıfçıoğlu's real target was himself. The famous rapper stated that the bullet struck his friend Kubilay Kaan Kundakçı next to him at the moment of the incident, asserting that Kadayıfçıoğlu's murderous act against him remained at the attempt stage.

PROSECUTOR'S INVESTIGATION: NO CONCRETE ACTION FOUND

Upon the complaint, a comprehensive investigation into the incident was launched by the Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. Witness statements, expert reports, and security camera footage from the moment of the incident were meticulously examined. As a result of the evaluations, it was determined that the suspect Kadayıfçıoğlu directly targeted the deceased Kundakçı in the vehicle, and there was no concrete action attributable to "attempted intentional murder" against the complainant Vahap Canbay.

NON-PROSECUTION DECISION FOR 10 PEOPLE

Based on the evidence obtained, the prosecutor's office announced its decision. According to the news in Sabah, a decision was made for non-prosecution (lack of grounds for prosecution) regarding the claims of the complainant Canbay against a total of 10 suspects, including Alaattin Kadayıfçıoğlu, who was investigated on charges of "Intentional killing/aiding," "Destroying, concealing, or altering crime evidence," "Harboring a criminal," and "Violation of Law No. 6136."
