A new metro line is coming to Istanbul. The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure has undertaken the rail system project that will pass through the Ümraniye, Kavacık, and Beykoz line.
A new metro line is coming to Ümraniye, Beykoz, and Kavacık, where traffic is the heaviest in Istanbul.
According to the Presidential Decree numbered 11628 published in the Official Gazette, the tender, construction, and other processes of the new metro line project have been transferred to the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
The metro line that will connect Ümraniye, Kavacık, and Beykoz has been added to the list of projects undertaken by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
WHERE WILL THE NEW METRO LINE PASS THROUGH?
Following the recent meeting between Beykoz Deputy Mayor Özlem Vural Gürzel and AYGM General Manager Dr. Yalçın Eyigün, the Ortaçeşme Station was included in the Beykoz-Kavacık-Ümraniye metro line.
The new metro line will have a total length of 17.49 kilometers and will include 14 stations.
HERE ARE THE STATIONS
The names of the stations to be built within the scope of the project are as follows:
"Ümraniye, Yavuztürk Junction, Bosna Boulevard, Zübeyde Hanım Street, Çiftlik Yolu, Küçüksu, Kavacık Junction, Kavacık, Saraçlar, Beykoz State Hospital, Beykoz Courthouse, Beykoz Pier, Ortaçeşme, Turkish German University"
